We hosted our first 2026 CME. Dr Chabaesele presented on endocrine disorders at primary care level, and Dr Kgaodi covered the surgical management of pituitary tumours, highlighting the value of a multidisciplinary team approach. Thank you to our presenters and to colleagues who attended in large numbers.
Botswana Surgical Society members travelled to Letlhakane Primary Hospital for a multidisciplinary outreach with Boteti DHMT, running clinics, performing procedures and conducting ward rounds across several surgical specialties.

We celebrated the launch of a state-of-the-art paediatric operating theatre at Princess Marina Hospital, funded by KidsOR and locally championed by our paediatric surgeon, improving surgical care for the country’s youngest patients.
